Forensics offers students the opportunity to develop, refine and master communication skills, either as a communications class (Comm 52) or through independent study. We mentor new speakers and guide seasoned competitors. In fact, SRJC has a 100-year history of developing first-time speakers and encouraging them to join the team.  Students on the team travel to intercollegiate tournaments locally and across the state.
