The office of Student Life, Equity & Engagement Programs (SLEE) is the hub of all student activities and programs at Santa Rosa Junior College. This office coordinates the extracurricular and co-curricular activities of students, the Rotary Center for Student Leadership, the Girvin Family Student Activities Center (SAC), the Intercultural Events Committee, the Student Ambassadors Program, the SRJC Student Body, Student Government Assembly, clubs and organizations. In addition, SLEE coordinates Club Days, Lost and Found Sales, Student Elections, Student Information Day, Welcome Day, and many other activities. The office of Student Life, Equity & Engagement Programs supervises the online student life Calendar of Events, the online BearFacts, Student eNewsletter, and coordinates many of the events and activities on MySRJCApp. The office has a free local phone and mailboxes for student government officers, clubs, and student members of college committees.
The office of Student Life, Equity & Engagement Programs is the place to go for general information and assistance, Student ID cards, and Club Banking. SLEE will also assist and advise students on college Student Grievance and Conduct process.

STUDENT PHOTO ID’S
The office of Student Life, Equity & Engagement Programs (SLEE) is the place to purchase and attain a registered student photo ID at a cost of $5. Also, International Student ID cards cost $22 and the Gold Card and Employee ID cards are free.
The Santa Rosa Junior College Gold Card is FREE and is available to 1) all residents of Sonoma County, 2) 60 years old or older, and 3) students who have a Student ID number. This plastic, photo ID card entitles the user to similar benefits as a CubCard Premium member. The office of Student Life, Equity & Engagement can help you obtain a Student ID number for free if needed.
SRJC Student Body
All currently enrolled students are considered members of the Santa Rosa Junior College Student Body and are represented by the Student Government Assembly (SGA). Students who pay the CubCard Premium membership fee each semester (including summer, with a special benefit program) are entitled to benefits, including, free home athletic events, half-price theatre ticket vouchers, a $5 parking discount, or $2 motorcycle parking discount, 10% off at the SRJC Bookstore (except textbooks), and $0.50 off at Fresh & Natural (spend $4.95 or more). CubCard Premium members are also eligible to apply for both emergency loans and book loans.
The SGA Student Life Committee (SLC) makes college life fun and interesting by sponsoring social and educational programs that are creative and engaging. The SGA gives financial support to many college programs that are creative and engaging. The SGA gives financial support to many college programs that benefit students. They support the following programs or services: Intercultural Events, Puente Project, Women’s History Month, Arts & Lectures, Day Under the Oaks, Petaluma Campus Cinema Series, Theatre Arts Program, Intercollegiate Athletics and much more.
The SGA is the main legislative body of the SRJC Student Body and acts as voice and decision-making body of all students who attend Santa Rosa Junior College. The SGA fosters and encourages the democratic process and political action by involving students in educational issues and legislation that affects their lives on local, state, and national levels. Officers of the SGA are annually elected by the student body during the month of April; vacant positions are filled by appointment. CLUBS
A current listing of clubs is available online at https://studentlife.santarosa.edu/student-clubs. There are clubs for almost any interest and they are open to any student. Clubs actively recruit members and all students are encouraged to join. If none of the clubs are of interest or meet your needs, then organize your own! Pick up a club information packet in the office of SLEE.
INTER-CLUB COUNCIL
The Inter-Club Council (ICC) includes representatives from every college club and is represented in the Student Government Assembly (SGA) by the Inter-Club Council Chair. The ICC votes on club activation status. ICC also sponsors various events each semester. Its membership assists with events endorsed by SGA and Student Life, Equity & Engagement Programs.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP POLICY
Santa Rosa Junior College policy states that students shall not exercise selectivity of memberships based on vote of their members. The Board of Trustees interprets this policy to prohibit the use of any device or practice, which, in effect, implements selectivity. The board expects compliance in spirit and fact with the policy of open membership.
